About Reverend Doctor:

Reverend Doctor is an uplifting and defiantly positive soul pop act which aims to connect people and build community through music that moves your mind and your feet.

Rooted in the likes of Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Earth Wind & Fire, Kahlid – Reverend Doctor’s relentlessly optimistic music tells inspirational stories and creates safe spaces for those to gather.

As a singer and guitarist, Reverend Doctor’s songwriting aims to preach and to heal through positive messages of hope and love. Their music reflects a passion to build community and engage audiences.

Traveling the country with nothing but their guitar and trusty looper pedal, The Good Doctor’s show is small but mighty. Born and raised in the Midwest, USA, the Reverend’s story is everyone’s story: Love, loss, struggle, but marked by the decision to encourage others on a musical escapade of love across the world.

Rev now borrows from their jazz roots of the Bayou, funk that healed the world, along with R&B, pop, and rock — It results in an upbeat sound that will make you dance or simply bring a smile to your face.

About Lew Hill II:

Lewis C. Hill II, Ph.D. is a musician and software engineer based in Minneapolis St. Paul. His journey through music began with the pots and pans in his parent’s kitchen, a toy piano, a kid sized drum set, and a fisher-price record player.

Introduced at an early age to the Apple ][e computer and music making software, Lew completed his undergrad and graduate study in Computer Engineering and Human Computer Interaction at Iowa State University in the mid-2000’s. Lew is a co-intentor on two patents related to the treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmia from St. Jude Medical, and co-recipient of a WEBBY award for his work with My Wellness Journal at Project Tiki.

Synthesizing his love for technology and music, his project, Lew Hill II explores all aspects of funk, soul, and blues and re-presents it in new and unexpected ways.

Getting ready to release his second EP coming out October 21st 2018; You can now find him on streaming services like Spotify and iTunes.
“I’m really excited for people to hear this second EP because I sat down and produced these songs without second guessing myself. I know it’s good and I know people are going to like it.”

Have you ever seen anyone play drums with their guitar? Then you need to see Sesay.

“When I first moved to the united states I knew I had to learn the guitar. So I taught myself how to play but I knew that wasn’t enough. So one day I began drumming on my guitar. I quickly realized it was more of a drum than a guitar for me. I still don’t know where the the road goes. I still don’t know the right from wrong. I only follow my heart.”
