Hill II\, Ph.D. is a musician and software engineer based in Minneapolis St. Paul. His journey through music began with the pots and pans in his parent’s kitchen\, a toy piano\, a kid sized drum set\, and a fisher-price record player. \nBeyond the stage\, Lew has developed software for mobile\, desktop\, head mounted\, and immersive projection-based computer systems with applications in biotechnology\, medicine\, wellness\, social media\, and synesthesia. Introduced at an early age to the Apple ][e computer and music making software\, Lew completed his undergrad and graduate study in Computer Engineering and Human Computer Interaction at Iowa State University in the mid-2000’s. Lew is a co-intentor on two patents related to the treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmia from St. Jude Medical\, and co-recipient of a WEBBY award for his work with My Wellness Journal at Project Tiki. \nSynthesizing his love for technology and music\, his project\, Lew Hill II explores all aspects of funk\, soul\, and blues and re-presents it in new and unexpected ways. \nAbout Sesay and The Good Thyme: \nSesay is an artist based in Minneapolis Minnesota.\nBorn in Sierra Leone\, West Africa he moved to the United States in 2004 and began pursuing music.\nHe found inspiration from his idol Bob Marley\, and have been writing songs ever since. \nHis unlimited passion and talent for music has lead him to various paths. From being on American Idol to opening for a touring band and now making a living with his music.\nGetting ready to release his second EP coming out October 21st 2018; You can now find him on streaming services like Spotify and iTunes.\n“I’m really excited for people to hear this second EP because I sat down and produced these songs without second guessing myself.
